Wanna fight?

I have decided that a certain guy I know has to be the biggest idiot ever. He's been trying to get me to go out with him for let's see, 2 years? Everytime he asks me out or talks to me for that matter, he tries to tell me how sexy he is, or how much I'm going to like making out with him, or how he loves bodies, bodies are awesome, and can do really cool things *wink*wink*. How he'll make his wife really happy sexually. Always referencing sexual stuff. News flash buddy, if it hasn't happened yet, it ain't happening, ESPECIALLY the way you push at it. I'm going to give him some advice, but he's probably too retarded to take it from me.
1. If a girl gets offended by something you're doing, and you haven't yet gone on a first date with her... pay attention, she's showing you how she expects to be treated. If you want to go anywhere with her you're going to have to change your behavior.
2. If you want a classy girl to kiss you, you've got to be interested in her, what she does, have fun with her, be her friend. You'll know if she wants more. She won't give it to you until she does... unless she's just desperate for some action. But then again, who wants a desperate girl?
3. Do you really not have anything better to talk about than how hot you think you are, and how I should jump your bones? Seriously.
4. Grow up.
5. You're only mad at me because I called you out on your behavior. If you were really being misinterpreted, you'd apologize and stop, but instead you tell me I'm lame and that I have no sense of humor. Wow. You're awesome, you really got me with that one. :o)
GRRRRRRRR!

What I'm doing...

HI guys... it's been a while since I posted anything. I'm currently halfway through my 3rd semester in the Psychology bachelor's program at UVSC (I mean, UVU!). I love this major. It is really fun. I have always read psychology books for fun. Yeah, I said it, FOR FUN! I'm fascinated by the way people interpret their world. I'm also learning to be more forgiving of others for not doing things my way. Anyone who grew up with me knows I like things MY way! Well, currently I'm taking Abnormal Psychology, and Statistics. Abnormal Psych is interesting, statistics is NOT. It's math, and quite frankly.... I hate math. My abnormal psychology class is really interesting because I have some family members who deal with some of the illnesses we talk about. It's really interesting to learn about what goes on in these illnesses, so I can better understand what is going on with my family members.
(Oh, the picture is of me and my roommate Shauny, she's great!)
Psychology classes are really cool because most classes I have taken so far turn into discussions. While most fall under the typical "lecture" title, they are often anything but. Last semester I was taking Human Sexuality, Adolescent Development, and Psychology of Interpersonal Relationships. All we did in each class was get into in depth discussions on various topics covered by the class. I didn't mind at all that my classes didn't get out til 9:30 pm! Even after working all day, they were definitely interesting enough to keep me entertained!
Last semester was really cool because we got to write an autobiography on our adolescence for one of my classes. I figured it was going to be easy, but then we had to go really in depth and he expected us to talk about EVERYTHING or we would get a bad grade. I had to rehash some hard stuff from my teen years, and when I put them down on paper I realized some very interesting things about my past and about me now. It was really a great experience, as well as I have a 26 page autobiography that is a great journal for someone to read about me. However, I did cheat a little, I refused to put some stuff down because I got sick of writing and it was already a long paper!
This semester is a little harder, my abnormal psych class is on saturday mornings (ugh!), and my math class is twice a week at night. For some reason this semester is wearing me out more than the previous one, but I still really like my major! I'm excited for the counseling classes, and the clinical therapy classes. That could be cool to learn. Well this post wasn't as fun as the others, but I'll do something exciting and post soon!

Quote by Nelson Mandela

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” -Nelson Mandela
I absolutely love this quote. It is so right! Who are we NOT to be wonderful people? So when someone makes you feel down or inadequate, remember this, You rock! I love empowering stuff! :o)
First things first...

Well here I am again. Creating an online journal for all to see. I have tons of friends on this site, and maybe I'll let them have a peek into my life, since I get one into theirs! This is the 2nd time I've started a blog, maybe this time I won't delete it after 3 days! :o)
This is my first post, I have nothing really to say since I should be doing other things that are more productive at the moment. I'll post again soon!
