Favorite painting

Side note - I went to the BYU art museum exhibit for Carl Bloch last week. This has been a favorite painting of mine for years but never knew who painted it or what it was called. It's called Christ in Gethsemane by Carl Bloch.

The exhibit has a huge 10 foot tall version of this. It caused me to sit in reflection for a while. Everything is beautiful about this painting. The angel's wings, the way Christ is depleted of all his energy and is resting on the angel in exhaustion, their facial expressions, Christ is in red which is very symbolic of the suffering he went through in Gethsemane, the way the angel is soothing him. The whole thing is gorgeous.
